Getting Frisky

Lately I'm coveting some leopard pieces to integrate into my fall wardrobe. Leopard can be a bit tricky - it's far too easy to veer into trampy territory - but when done right, it can look exceptionally chic. Rose Byrne knows what I'm talking about.

Girl Crush du Jour

Her effortless, pared down style and unerring taste make Sofia Coppola insanely crush-worthy. Not only is she mega talented, but she also comes across as quite humble and down-to-earth, too. Basically, I want to be just like her when I grow up.

P.S. I'll take those Louis Vuitton wedges, too.

HP 7

Are you as breathless with anticipation for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part I as I am? I've been watching the press storm that has taken place over the last week and eagerly awaiting the movie's release on Friday (I. Cannot. WAIT). Watching the tv and red carpet interviews makes me realize A. how grown up everyone has become and B. how smitten I am with Emma Watson and her enchanting new Mia Farrow-esque pixie 'do. It really makes me want to chop my own hair off. I can just imagine how liberating it would feel (though knowing me, I'd probably regret doing so almost immediately afterward). I've developed somewhat of a girl crush on Emma in the last year or so, and this brave new cut makes me love her even more. I can't help it. The girl is adorableness personified.

J'adore Clemence Poesy

I have a serious girl crush on this woman. Clemence Poesy has that cool, effortless, not-trying-too-hard-but-all-the-while-still-looking-chic aesthetic (read: very French) that I dig. Note to self: take a leaf out of her book.

Girl Crush

Oh lordy, that looks like a lot of fun. I don't think Diane Kruger could look any more adorable in this photo if she tried. You know the saying that so-and-so could wear a burlap sack and still look fabulous? Well, Ms. Kruger is the only person I can think of to whom this saying absolutely 100% applies. She never ceases to look amazing and altogether more interesting than 99.99% of women out there. She just kills it every time. And her life seems positively dreamy. Wouldn't you, too, squeal with delight if you could still look achingly chic while paling around with the boyfriend at a Chanel party in the French Riviera in springtime? Yeah, so would I.
